The second Nordic Masterclass for Conductors was held in August 2013.
The masterclass had nine participants chosen from all around the world.
In 2013 a piano competition was held in order to find soloist for the Grieg piano concerto.
The jury consisted of pianists Marianna Shirinyan, Christina Bjørkøe and
artistic director Maria Badstue.

The third Nordic Masterclass took place in 3-8 August 2014 in Alsion Sønderborg. 90 conductors from around applied for the masterclass.
A violin competition was held in cooperation with Orkester Norden
in order to find a soloist for the Sibelius Violin Concerto.
The masterclass was supported by
Augustinus Foundation, Oticon Fonden and
Carl Nielsen and Anne-Marie Carl Nielsens Legat.
